FAQs

Q: Kids?

A: We do love our kids, but we do not have a kids menu. We are small restaurant so we ask that you please include ALL children in your reservation, even infants.

Small strollers are allowed but large and double strollers must be folded at the front.

Q: Dogs?

A: Well-behaved dogs are welcome on the patio.

Q: Gift Cards

A: Gift cards are sold in person or over the phone. We do not have electronic gift cards.

Q: How far in advance can I make a reservation?

A: We book out one month in advance. Reservations are made through Resy.

Please call the restaurant for reservations over 6 people.

Q: What are the different seating options?

A: “Dining Room” reservations are for tables indoors.

“Outside” reservations are for outdoor tables on the patio or window counter.

“Chef’s Bar” reservations are for the bar overlooking the kitchen (no children). This is a wonderful way to see all the kitchen action.

“Sports Bar” is the small bar with a TV in front of it.

Guests must be 21+ to sit at either bar.

Q: Outside res, but it’s raining?

A: Outside reservations are weather-dependent. These seats are UNCOVERED, with NO HEATERS. They are subject to cancellation in the event of inclement weather. Whenever possible, we will move you indoors. Please dress warmly as the temperature drops as the sun goes down.

Q: Rehearsal Dinners? Private Parties?

A: We are a small restaurant with a capacity for a sit down dinner of 25 people and a cocktail party of 45 people. Because of this, any type of party would be considered a buy out of the restaurant.

Email TSKNPT@gmail.com for pricing if interested.

Q: BYOB?

A: We are not BYOB. Nor do we allow bottles brought in for corkage fee. We have a fabulous wine list.

Q: Can you accommodate vegetarian/vegan guests?

A: Yes, we can, with limited options. The dish(es) change on a nightly basis. (We are a steak house.)

Q: Parking?

A: The two closest public lots are 1. at the top of Dearborn Street near Spring Street and 2. across from Seasons on Thames Street. Both are metered through the city’s Passport Parking app/website. Same goes for street parking along Thames.

Additionally, there are several privately-owned pay-to-park lots along Thames.

Newport in the Summer is busy so please give yourself time to find parking!

Q: I am running late!

A: We get it; traffic, kids, work…life! Kindly give us a ring so we know when to expect you. And keep in mind, to best serve all guests we reserve tables for parties of 2 for 1.5 hours and parties of 3+ for 2 hours.
